The Municipality of Valencia, together with the CEyD, organised a technical visit of the MEDA partners on October 1^st and 2^nd, 2009.
The Strategic Plan of Valencia was described and analysed in-depth by the Executive Director and officials of the CEyD as well as by officials of the Municipality. The participatory approach used by Valencia was well explained to the MEDA partners, focusing on the most difficult part, that is getting started: carrying on a diagnostic analysis, deciding where the city is and where we want it to go, gathering the main stakeholders.
A guided tour showed all participants the main successful strategic projects of Valencia.
Also representatives of ANCI IDEALI and Reggio Emilia participated to the technical visit.
